Marmi’s commitment to service is reflected throughout its organization – from the initial design consultant to the ultimate installer.  Each member of the Marmi Team is devoted to client satisfaction and the quest for perfection in every project regardless of its complexity or subtle simplicity.

Maria Garza – Design and Sales Consultant

A graduate from the University of Georgia Lamar Dodd School of Art in May 2010 with a BFA in Interior Design, Maria is a newcomer to the stone industry. Although a newcomer, Maria has an eye for detail and passion for design. Maria is an allied member of ASID and enjoys staying involved with the Atlanta design community.

Angelica Gurel - Design and Sales Consultant

Angelica has been in the stone industry for five years. With a Marketing degree from Colombia and a BFA in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Atlanta, Angelica provides knowledge and detail to every project.

Karin Hampton – Design and Sales Consultant

With a BFA in Studio Art from The University of Georgia, Karin Hampton has been in the stone industry for five years. Before joining the Marmi Natural Stone Team, Karin was the assistant to a prominent interior designer in upstate New York. Karin’s experience and knowledge makes each client’s visit enjoyable and memorable.

Michelle Meyer – Design and Sales Consultant

Before joining the Marmi Natural Stone Team, Michelle worked within the cabinet manufacturing industry and previously owned a decorative arts company for eleven years. Many years of collaborative work with architects, interior designers and builders combined with expertise in color coordination is a benefit to our exclusive clientele.

Karl Harte - Regional Sales Executive 

A graduate of Purdue University, Karl brings his 30 years of experience in the Countertop industry to Marmi. Developing relationships regionally, Karl has helped Marmi expand, supplying an unprecedented selection of high-end, natural stone slabs and tile to industry leaders throughout the southeast.

Chanthan Bun – Project Manager

With eight years in the stone industry, Chanthan is very precise and knowledgeable. With each project, Chanthan makes sure to cover every detail. Chanthan enjoys learning about her birthplace of Cambodia, and spending time with her family.

Edward Parker – Project Manager

A graduate of Georgia Tech, Ed comes to Marmi with over 13 years of stone experience including project management, building construction, and building products sales and distribution. In his past experience, Ed served as the corporate operations manager of a stone wholesale and distribution subsidiary of, Finstone Ltd.

Stephan Mann – Operations Coordinator

Stephen graduated from Georgia Tech in 2009 with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering. He has always had a passion for woodworking and developed a passion for business and industrial design while in school. In Stephen’s first year at Marmi he has come to enjoy the many parallels that stone fabrication and woodworking share.

Magd Riad – President

Our team is led by President, Magd Riad, who manages the entire organization and heads our global sourcing efforts. Magd started with Marmi Natural Stone in the beginning of 2009 as a strategy consultant and quickly accepted the role of President and COO at the start of 2010. With an MBA from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and an undergraduate engineering degree from Georgia Tech, Magd has worked in some of America’s most respected companies, including The Coca-Cola Company, General Electric, and Newell-Rubbermaid in a variety of management roles. Magd enjoys being outdoors and is an avid runner and snow skier.

With over 17 years experience in the engineered and natural stone industry as a Production Manager and Operations Professional, Richard joins Marmi Natural Stone as Director of Operations and Fabrication. Richard is a 3rd generation in the stone business with experience in both the commercial and residential industries. With his vast amount of knowledge, Richard is a great addition to the Marmi Natural Stone Team.

Judy Talley – Director of Marketing and Business Development

A graduate of Oglethorpe University, Judy came to Marmi as a marketing consultant with over 25 years in marketing and communications experience. After working with the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic games, she started her own marketing consulting business, specializing in the custom home building and remodeling industry.

Emily Reatherford – Director of Administration

The veteran of the group, Emily has grown with Marmi Natural Stone since its infancy in 2006. Emily has seen the company transform and grow into the sophisticated company it is today. A graduate of Emory University and SHRM certified, Emily oversees information technology, human resources and facilities management.

Hilary Langley – Client Services Manager

Hilary serves as Executive Assistant to Magd Riad, and manages the sourcing process from acquisition to delivery as the sourcing coordinator. Graduating magna cum lauda from Emory University Goizueta Business School with a BBA in Marketing, Hilary has many years of comprehensive administrative and program support in the corporate arena.
