Magd RiadPresident and COO
With a true affinity for travel and the design industry, Magd is active in several design organizations, serves on the Board of the Design Leadership Network, is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and is a graduate of the ULI (Urban League Institute) Center for Leadership. As an active alumnus of his alma mater, Georgia Institute of Technology, Magd serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees and was a past Trustee of the Georgia Tech Alumni Association. An avid runner, an active skier and a Yoga devotee, Magd embodies joie de vivre and never meets a stranger regardless of where his travels take him!
Richard StaleyDirector of Operations
Natural stone is a rich part of Richard’s family and career as he represents the third generation in the industry. Having grown up in the granite and marble business, Richard came to Marmi as the result of a nationwide search. His over 25 years’ experience in the engineered and natural stone industry, as an operations professional with a diverse background from quarry through production and final installations covers both the residential and commercial arenas.
As Marmi’s Technical Expert, Richard’s wealth of knowledge and experience provides a strong foundation for both our internal team and our client work. Richard’s vast expertise also provides specific stone knowledge as to a stone’s performance in an application, as well as, a journeyman’s attention to fabrication and installation precision and detail. In addition to slab fabrication for any project, Richard’s working knowledge of tile installation and wall cladding contribute greatly to Marmi’s broad capabilities within the stone industry.
In his leisure time, Richard enjoys working on many types of home projects and spending time with his lovely wife Raquel, and his college age daughter, Hannah. He also enjoys every opportunity to visit his son Christopher, wife Leslie, and granddaughter Lillian in Tennessee.
Hope PayneDirector of Sales
Hope has an extensive background in leadership, training and sales management with a strong focus on creating a world class customer experience. With 14 years of experience in luxury home furnishings with Baker Furniture, Hope joined the Marmi Team in 2015.
Hope, as Director of Sales, is responsible for overseeing the sales across all business units. With an emphasis focus on training, procedures and customer relations, Hope has built upon the existing training protocol and continues to create and fine-tune an internal curriculum known as Marmi University. Working alongside Marketing and Business Development, Hope leads the sales effort with enthusiasm and persistence.
As an active working mom, Hope is married to Kevin and when not engaged in the stone business, can be found either on the soccer field, swimming pool or whatever the sport dujour might happen to be with their young son, Kingston. Hope is also an avid sailor and hits the high seas as often as time allows.
Judy TalleyDirector of Marketing and Business Development
With over 30 years in marketing and communications experience, Judy came to Marmi as a marketing consultant in 2008.
After a successful career in the corporate world, Judy was Program Director for the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games and managed two programs that generated over $25 million to stage the games.
As a part of her role in building Marmi’s brand and presence in the market, she has served on the Board of the Georgia Chapter of the National Kitchen and Bath Association, served the Georgia Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers with Strategic Planning and is on the SE Chapter Board of the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art. She has chaired the prestigious Philip Trammell Shutze Awards in 2011 and again in 2016. Additionally, she is certified by the Natural Stone Institute, formerly Marble Institute of America as an instructor to conduct continuing education classes for AIA, ASID, NKBA and ALSA.
Judy and Jack are parents of 5 grown married daughters. When not involved in family affairs, Judy and Jack are competitive croquet players.
Emily ReatherfordDirector of Administration
After joining Marmi Natural Stone in 2006, Emily became a key player in identifying and creating processes for the newly structured company, as well as overseeing many of the administrative operations.
As Marmi has grown, Emily’s diverse talents and experience have placed her at the forefront of developing a new and emerging ERP (Enterprise Resource Program), the facilities expansion plan for Marmi’s ever-growing team, as well as staying on the forefront of the latest cataclysmic computer hack.
Today, as Director of Administration, Emily’s primary responsibility is to oversee Human Resources, Office Management, Facilities and Information Technology.
An Atlantan since 1998, Emily did her undergraduate work at Emory University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree as well as a certification in Human Resource Management.
Lydia MikhailAccounting Manager
With over 10 years of experience, Lydia oversees Finance and Accounting for Marmi Natural Stone. Having assisted in building the financial infrastructure for a growing company, Lydia supports the Marmi team with strong organization skills and dedication.
Lydia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Cairo University in Egypt.
In her time away from Marmi, Lydia and her husband, Rafik have two children, a daughter in college and a son in high school.
Hilary LangleyExecutive Assistant
Hilary serves as Executive Assistant to the President and manages Marmi’s extensive stone acquisition process. This process requires constant interaction and liaison with numerous global partners. As a member of the Leadership Team, Hilary also oversees internal communications and employee engagement which are both major efforts to create and ensure a unique Marmi esprit de corps.
Graduating magna cum laude from Emory University Goizueta Business School with a BBA in Marketing, Hilary has many years of comprehensive administrative and program support experience in the corporate arena.
Hilary and her husband Sany have two married adult sons and Hilary is a grandmother to two granddaughters who adore her!
